Built in 2015 and 2016 from beech grown at Hooke Park. Of 204 standing trees surveyed photographically, felling yielded 25 usable forks, 20 of which were built into the truss, each matched to a position. Every one of the 25 was drilled with a first set of three locating holes before scanning, and the 20 that went on to the robot bear a second set and milled end faces. The making is documented down to the individual fork, but the documentation was never attached to the material: no fork carries its number, and what may sit in the institution's holdings is not readily found. The accessible record survives in the makers' publications and a personal portfolio.
The building was dismantled and nothing was recorded at dismantling. What returned was a pile of single pieces.
